    direct swap head unit

    After removing my stock radio to check the connections I realized how easy it is to remove... Are there any head units out there that you can just swap to w/o splicing or running new wires? I wouldn't mind having Bluetooth/IPod features but I need it to be simple.

    NO sound from speakers in driver side door???

    I found 2 other wires cut... So I fixed all three by adding a few inches of wire and heat-shrinking. I know that one of them was the little orange light on the door lock/unlock switch. I wonder what the other one was? :rolleyes:

    I have no sound coming from the driver's side speakers. I took the panel off and looked for any pinching/cuts but didn't see anything obvious. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot this issue? I went from full sound one day to none in that door the next... I have a kicker component set up if...

    Finally got rid of the old Michelin run flats and the difference is amazing! Much smoother ride and way less road noise. Haven't had them on the track but the grip is way better than the old run craps. I am mad at myself for waiting so long to make the switch.

    VCA carfax

    You needed to put the vin in the "message to seller" box when you were checking out of PayPal. Sometimes to add the message you have to click the " + " next to the the line that says "message to seller" to activate the text field. My carfax arrived within a couple hours via email. Good luck.

    Differential oil change...

    Update: I was able to use a 3/8" hex key and it fit perfectly and I was able to get it out with out any issues. Getting the oil out was easy. Getting the oil in on the other hand was fairly cumbersome and messy.

    Did you use a 3/8" or a 7/16" hex key? I am in the process of changing out my fluid and I agree the 10mm is too big but isn't 7/16" larger than 10mm? I am on way to sears to find some allen sockets but have noticed the 7/16" size isn't very common. I don't know if the year matters but my car...
