As always, files, instructions, and original OnShape model are available on printables.com:

Does anyone have any clever ideas for mounting a phone or gps to a Gen 1 viper? I feel like I have a few half-baked ideas, but none I'm totally satisfied with.
Pictures are great.
Product makes and models are appreciated.
We can rebuild them. We have the technology!
Must be printed or painted green. If not, other Viper owners will point at you and laugh. And you know what? They're right to do so. Never leave home without your doohickey...
I installed some new speakers and they are more sensitive to poor audio signal. With the key on and engine off, I turn on the head unit with volume at 0, and I can hear a high pitched whine. I'm not being picky here, it is a legitimate nuisance. I grabbed some RCA coaxial cable and tested with a...
This solution might be a bit overkill, but here's how I addressed the infamous power steering cap issue.
I routed a 3/8" hose from my cap breather to an oil catch can.
1) It prevents fluid from spraying up and onto the exhaust manifold
2) In the event of the cap coming loose, the hose will...
I'm starting a thread for my audio upgrades on my 1993. Gen 2 seems to be well documented in various places, but I figured Gen 1 is different enough to warrant some posts. My goals are:
1) Door midrange speakers (See posts 2 3 4 5)
3) Door tweeter speakers (See post 7)
3) Rear speakers...
Does anyone know if the gen 1 and 2 power steering caps are supposed to have a gasket or o-ring? If so, does anyone know a part number or correct o-ring size? I've been finding conflicting information....
These should work for 1992 - 2000
This was supposed to be a quick and easy design, but it took some effort to get the button/dome top to not look crummy and to align the layer lines so the legs wouldn't snap off....
Photos and instructions are on the printables.com link below, but In short...
I couldn't find a replacement part. I had been using a rubber washer with a squared hole to hold the intake baffle in place. I made a replacement you can print in a flexible filament. More photos are on the printables.com link...
The Idle Air Control (IAC) motor is on the back of the intake on the passenger side. You may be wondering if you can actually get it off without removing the intake. Yes you can. Here's how.
Tools:
7/16 regular wrench.
7/16 stubby wrench. It's in a tight spot and a regular wrench will hit a...
I have a 1993. As the title says, when coming to a stop my rpms will drop to near zero. It's even stalled a couple of times. At operating temperature the idle seems low. It shows closer to 575 that 704+-25. Yes I am reading the gauge correctly. Yes I realize the first mark just after 0 is...

I came across this post:
https://www.viperclub.org/vca/threads/how-to-build-a-primer-timer-and-cure-your-viper-fuel-pump-starting-problem.624994/
which describes using a timed relay to work around slow-start problem. Though I...
I recently got a 93. I found the fog light switch was stuck. I remove the bezel around it. It looks like someone tried to pry the switch up from the topside. They cracked the trim around the switch and put super-glue to hold it down. Well the superglue flowed into the switch itself!
Hi. I've searched the forum but couldn't find any solutions. I have a 1993 antenna car. It still has the original cassette head unit. It mostly works, except when I put a cassette in, it sounds like it's just rewinding, then fast forwarding, then rewinding, etc... and never stops. I suspect the...
Hi. I'm new to this forum. I recently acquired a 1993 Viper. I have lots of questions but I figured I would start by sharing this. My Viper was missing a fender plug. I quickly designed one that could be printed in TPU. Here's the link...
