Hello

I want to buy a service manual for some up coming projects on the viper. Thing is i can get the 2003 service manuals on ebay for $30 and yet the 2004 manuals are over a $100. Is there any difference in the two manuals? Last i recall a gen III 2003 and 2004 viper are very much alike. What could possibly be in the 04 manual that i should have to pay so much more or can i just buy the 03 manual? Thanks

I don't think you can buy a service manual for $30.00 ..body manual, electrical manual perhaps but not the actual service manual.....03 & 04 manuals should be the same other than some very small details...check the price for a new manual,I purchased a brand new manual from the local Chrysler dealer here in Canada for just over $100.00 with no shipping costs

The 2003 manual has the stoopid typo on the rear shock lower mounting bolt torque at 140 ft-lbs instead of 100, misleading a few of us into snapping off that bolt. ******.
There is a general service manual, then detailed specific volumes for diagnostics on the power train, chassis, and body which are sold separately.
