19\" and 20\" Tire Recommendations

Hey guys,

Here I go again. One more question in the quest for Viper Knowledge.
My car is SC and other mods(haven't dynoed yet)I am adding some parts before dynoing and tuning. (should end up with around 6oowhp)

I am going to buy aftermarket wheels in either 19" or 20". What is the best for size, and "traction" in these two sizes. I have looked at the Pirelli Rosso 355/25/19 which is stock height(which I like) and has a wopping 14" tread width.

What sizes do you guys recommend in 19's and 20's? (I wish someone made a drag radial that would work on a 19)

Alan,

I run the 355/25/19 on a CCW wheel with a 275/30 front and I couldn't be happier. The sidewall "bulge" is about the same from front to rear and the car looks mean from the back. I think the 20's are a little too big for the vipers from a purely proportions stand point.

How is your traction? I see you have mild mods. Do the tires look good in appearance?

Traction is unchanged, the tires do look better though...

Boy those CCW's look good. I am looking at the 505A's in 19". I have not decided on Eibach Pro Kit yet. I am worried about dragging the nose everywhere.

Is anyone with Forced Induction running the Pirelli's? How is the traction?
