'96 is definitely the best year and red is such a classic color

No because "BLACK" unlike red was only made certain select years whereas red are a"A DIME A DOZEN" available almost every year. LOL


But to be fair red is a hot color for a Viper

Haven't gotten around to taking pics of my white '96 yet (or learning how to post them). I am wondering how many of you fellow '96ers have had the "998" recall inspection/work done, and what was the outcome? I've read somewhere that the '96 frame also has some unique features that may make it less prone to the problems addressed in the recall.

I haven't had my recall work done yet as I've been hesitant to leave my car at a dealer. It's tough finding a place that will truely take as good a care of it as you/I do.

Don't know about special conditions for the '96 recalls, but had mine done and I waited (and observed) while the work was done; 3-4 hours.
