I already tried a search - no luck. Noticed that the bumper stripes do not exactly line up with the rear body. The left one matches closer than the right but still off. Normal?

Got a picture? My knee **** reaction is no that's not normal.

One way to tell if it has been repainted is to look for the tell tale signs like a difference in the amount of orange peel. In case your not familiar with paint jargon "orange peel" is basically the amount of ripple in the clear coat. It's what basically gives the surface the look of an orange peel. So try and look at reflections in the paint. If you see more orange peel or less orange peel than the rest of the body, then odds are it's been repainted. You can also crawl underneath and see if there was any overspray anywhere or if you can see to the underside of the bumper anywhere you could tell if there is clear indication of different paint being sprayed over existing paint.
