I'll be moving out of the country soon, albeit temporarily, and plan to get a Gen IV when I'm back, so I'm not leaving the Viper world forever, just taking a short vacation from it.

Never had it dyno'd (sacrilege, I know) but I'm taking the car to Doug for a final once over for the buyer's peace of mind, and I plan to have it done then. Will post results in this thread in a few days.

Dropping the car off tomorrow at Doug's for a final check-up, getting it detailed, then will be posting a bevy of photos, including those of the interior.

Just dropped the car off. The PCM is stock, but has been reflashed using a custom tune from Doug. Don't know what he uses to create the binary.

Estimates 550ish HP at the wheels. Stay tuned, will post as soon as dyno results are in.

Your hysterics are noted, but, the accidents are explained in detail in the VCA ad. I even went a step further. One of the accidents does not appear in CarFax, because no ticket was issued, as we both used the same insurer (State Farm) who told us calling the cops was at our discretion. So, while we were both on the phone, he admitted fault to the State Farm agent, and his policy was charged for the repair. In exchange for him being really cool about the whole thing, I never called the police, and as such, CarFax has no note of the incident.

I tell people about it because it's the right thing to do. My integrity is worth more than the price hit I'll take on the car.

In any event, the car was repaired to perfection.

Do other sellers a favor and research the car a bit more before sounding the alarm. If all you did was click the link in the first post in this thread, you would have seen that I disclosed everything in full detail.

Due diligence isn't your thing, I guess.

It looks like I'll be leaving the country sooner than I anticipated and need to sell the car yesterday.

Due to this, and the recent flood of low priced Gen II's, the price is now $29,000. Updated the price on the Classified section, but every time I make a change, it has to be re-approved, so it may be a few hours before the ad is back up again.

Anyway, at $29,000 it's an outright steal. The car is at Doug Levin's right now if a long distance buyer wants a visual inspection from one of the best in the community.
