I was in a heated brake pad discussion with my buddy - we were debating pros & cons of different brake pads - OEM, PFC, Pagid, EBC etc for hard track day use (1-1.5 non-stop hours track time per session ie - drive until you have 0 gas,..gas up, do it again)

Anyways, he said his previous 2000 GTS (he now has an 97 GTS -Blue with stripes and a 2002 ACR bumble bee with stripes) actually wore out BOTH front and rear pads (OEM brakes and pads) at the same rate - I was astounded given the front bias nature of stock Viper brakes.

What Gives?

I always thought most brake pads wore 2 to 1 front to rear.

Thanks for any feedback.

Maybe he just had to say something amazing to cap off the discussion!

Or he did a lot of burnouts, w/o a line lock?

Impossible. 2 to 1 ratio is more likely.
