2008 CEL

Can anyone tell me if you can get the CEL codes without a code reader? I know on my Dodge truck you can get the codes off the odometer by switching the key on and off 3 times. I can't seam to get that to work on my 08 Viper. Thanks in advance for the help.

i'm no expert but i don't think so... i've just been using this actron on my 08 after a tip from another board member.... i have had to clear a code on my 08 due to the belanger headers... no problems since... u can find em for 50-60 bucks at your local auto parts store..something tells me that you already knew all this but just in case

Thanks for the help! I had Snap-On come by today and download the 2008 updates for my scanner. I should be able to read it now!
