315\"s on front?

I was just wondering if 315's will fit on stock rims, but lowered Alden Eagles shocks? Anyone have any experience?
Thanks,
Todd

I run 3.15's now and have run 3.25's on the front. You just have to be careful about going full lock and it is only on the track.

A frienf of mine runs 335s on the front at the track. It rubs a little at full lock.

Re: 315

I run 315s typically on the street and track with oem wheels. With spacers the trailing edge of the fender will hit the tires slightly when lifting the front clip (hood). Without the spacers make sure the tires are straight. I have run 335 on the front once at the track. Nothing rubbed that I noticed. I don't think I keep the spacers in on that run.

My car is lowered somewhat with a track alignment.

I won't track anything smaller than 315s anymore. The turn in is just so much better with the bigger tire. When I ran the 335s my speed pick up but it was loose in the rear. Plus getting the 335 on the rim was a *****.

Re: 315

Are you guys just stuffing the 315 on a 10" rim? From a quick check of some of the specs, it looks like a 315 requires at least a 10.5" wide rim.

Thanks,
Alex

Re: 315

I have 315's on the front with HRE 10x18 rims and have had no problems. And yes, they are great on the track (Pilot Sport Cups).
