3spokes on a gen 2?

just out of curiosity, but I've never heard of anyone putting the 3 spoke rims on a gen 2...is it that they won't fit? if so, i bet it would look kinda cool with chrome ones

Some racers were using them on '96 Gen 2 cars early on. The VOI 5 video has one doing circle burnouts with the 3 spokes on the rear

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> The rims from a 92 will fit a 2002, but I think the main reason is due to looks. Most people prefer the 5 spoke rims compared to the 3 spoke.

The three spoke design had inherent structural problems. If anyone with a Gen I has a vibrations they cannot find, it is very possible that the the rears have lateral runout due to the huge offset coupled with the the three spoke design. There was a formal acknowledge from Dodge on this problem.
