95 Viper Inner Fender Removal

Hello,
I am replacing the passenger side front inner fender on my 95 Gen 1, as it was damaged. Can anyone tell me the trick for removing the grommets from the bottom, behind the front tire? I would like to correctly remove them, without damage.

I believe they are 1/4" diameter steel rivets. I drilled the heads off, removed the splash shield, drove the rivet nails through, then drilled out the remainder.
