Hi everyone, I come to seek advice on a Viper I am interested in. The car is a super clean 99 RT/10 with only 2200 miles(verified on carfax)on the clock. I would like to know what probably needs to be done to the car in terms of maintence and such, and any problems the 99 had that need to be addressed.
Thanks :2tu:

nofear - Don't trust carfax too much. I have read a lot about the problems people have with it. Not all problems or accidents are reported to carfax.

Might not be an issue on a car with that low of mileage, but Vipers due two things related to the doors: 1) the hinges wear out and the door will not stay propped open. The only repair is a new hinge which is about $200. 2) the main weatherstrip aroung the door opening wears through in a couple of spots. You can do a stop-gap repair by dying the white cording that shows through black with a Sharpie pen. The only true fix is a whole new strip which is $300 per side. Probably not an issue if it has 2,200 miles.
