This one-owner Viper has only 9,225 miles and is #16 of only 50 Viper RT/10 CS heavily optioned models scheduled to be built, each signed by Carroll Shelby and delivered new in 1996 through Fitzgerald Dodge in Laconia, New Hampshire. Because the Carroll Shelby edition was a $20,000 option, only 21 cars were actually ever built and sold.

From what I remember reading in a 1996 issue of Car and Driver when they tested the '96 Roadster, the CS package was offered exclusively through Fitzgerald Motorsports which was the dealer Mr Shelby was affiliated with. It included those wheels, the crosshair grill removed, the hardtop, rear spoiler and *I believe* some minor suspension and engine/exhaust work.

I wish I still had that issue. They also went to Japan to drive a Supra, Skyline, and a Vette.
