B\W Viper White Badges

How come on some of the 96\97 B\W GTS I see the badge lettering "Dodge Viper" in all white as opposed to the standard blue? Was getting white lettering an option or is it just a mod that some owners do?

Can be seen in chrome lettering also, Yes Owners did it

Usually a exterior mod. R&J distribution makes them. My Black RT/10 had black but i think they look like crap, so i have the Chrome ones and it definatly makes it look alot better!

Chrome badging looks like WHITE in most photos.

A few owners hand-painted their emblems white....or bought black ones and painted them white. have also seen this on Red/White. Looks good! Numerous YELLOW owners changed to black badges...esp w/ black stripes. Looks great....
