Bad Voltage Regulator/ Need New Alternator

Like the title states, I need a new alternator. Noticed a large voltage drop at a red light with AC, Headlights, and radio on. Had the alternator checked by O'reilly's and confirmed a bad voltage regulator. They carry nothing electrical for the Viper. VPA lists an alternator for $372.00. Does anyone know where I can get a heavy duty alternator besides VPA? Not really wanting to support them right now. Thanks. Jeff. 2002 GTS, 51000 miles.

I had the same problem a few years back. I sent my alt out to a company called Mean Green and had them rebuild it and also preform
some up grades no problems now.
