Have a GenII, if I want to upgrade to a big brake kit will my stock wheels still work? (2001 GTS wheels)

Trying to figure out how big a can o' worms I will be opening:lmao:

If you're referring specifically to Dave's Big Brake kits, you'd have 2 options:

Dave's Viper Shop

DVS-002 or DVS-002A

of course either of those would also require DVS-004 and DVS-005

You'd also be on the hook for the calipers and rotors required for the kit you chose, as well as installation.

I'm in the process of installing SRT-10 calipers and 14" front rotors on all 4 corners of my 2001 ACR using his kits if you have any more questions.

I have the SRT brakes on front and Gen II fronts moved to the rear on my 97 GTS. I am running 2001 OEM 18" rims. I also have EBC dimpled/slotted rotors.

I also have 1/2 inch spacers on there. Not sure if they are mandatory but that's the set up on my car.:2tu:

thanks Bloose, Redsnake, Detlef and ViperTony, that's exactly what I was looking for, a way to keep my stock wheels!

I believe you can go 14" rears with the 18" ACR rims...

Fitted a few of these kits now and they are first class.....

ACR wheels will let you run 14's front and rear.

Othewise, you'll need SSR's, CCW's or Forgelines made to accomodate the 14's front and rear.

Nice set up.

Installed it on my 01 GTS ACR
