Boosted engine oil breather systm sizes

I was wanting thoughts on what sizes of pipes I should be taking:

1. from the rocker covers to the oil separation/ catch tank,

2. from the oil separation/ catch tank back to the sump?

I was thinking -12 for 1. and something smaller (-8?) for 2. (since that will back-feed the system on boost, something smaller would be better since the engine should breather out of the rocker covers to reduce the oil carry over?)

Any advice welcomed!

I used an 8AN, mostly because it was readily available and the 8AN fitting matched well with the catch can I used.
