Ok I got a borla on my car, and the left tip is a bit to the right while the left tip is straight. My friend has the same borla system and his tips are straight. I didnt bother trying to straighten them but it could be done.

I have the 3inch borla cat back. MY tips touch each other coming out of the back, and they are straight. Maybe you should try to touch them together in the back and then adjust them from there. I also have no rattling problems either.
