Where is the best place to buy back-brake pads and what brand? Just for street use of a 97 GTS.

For street, go with Porterfield R4-S pads for good stopping power, no noise, an MINIMAL dust. Most will say EBC greens and I was a former fan too! However, EBC changed the brake compound within the past year or two. While EBC maintained their good stopping power and no noise, the dust factor increased by about 50% compared to the earlier EBC Greens. Porterfields RS-4 pads URL: www.porterfield-brakes.com

Try www.racebrakes.com I am looking for some rears myself and they say they have them. I am just trying to find out some more info on them. If anyone is using them can they let us know how they work.

I've heard good things about you, thanks for the advice. However, my local dealer offered me stock pads for the same price. I'm looking for something cheaper but of the same quality. Any suggestions? Also, how do Hawk pads compare?
