Brandenton Street Tire question

I can only buy one set of tires. I will end up getting some sticky PS2's or Kumho's.


So if I want to pay the extra $50, can I still run, it just will not count for a "record". I still don't get why we can't run PS2's it is the STOCK street tire on the 08's.

Correct you can still run, just won't count. One caveat, I will suggest to John Canal that if the person you are up against does not mind you are running sticky tires, the run will count.

If any 08's show up for the Street Tire shootout, they will be allowed because it is an OEM tire for the 08's.

I was planning to run some PS2's. Being, my car has ONLY 565rwhp, there is not a snow ball's chance in h*ll I can even come close to winning. I figured, at this point, I should be able to get some good practice in the day before the bracket racing, and know what class I should run, with luck, I'll be VERY low 11's with PS2's or Kumho's.
