no, I believe that means it was never titled (sold on MSO) So when it went to auction it was sold as a"new" car. Techincally cars on MSO's can only be sold to new car dealers of that make. (State wants thier sales tax $)

I could be wrong, but.... first titled 3/27/01, then manufacturer sale Dec 01? If it was me, I'd ask another dealer to run a check, I'd wonder if it was a lemon law buy-back?

no, the federal gov't law saws a lemon buy back can never be registarted. I think a dealer was using it as a "demo" then auctioned it. I am a registarted PO dealer and have bought a couple lemon cars for parts-they must surrender the title in order for the insurance to cover thier costs.
