Cat Question

I just ordered random tech cats from JonB. I currently have Corsa's Catback system which was bolt on. Is there now cutting required to put theses cats on with the corsa exhaust? are the inlet/outlets compatible with corsa? I called corsa and they said they should match up, JonB said ill need an adapter and some cuting will be necessary? I trust Jons advice as he's always done me well and Im now confused with Corsas advice contradictiong PartsRack's. Anyone here have the corsa 3"catback with random tech hi flow cats and if so...to cut or not to cut. input appreciated.

Jon B is right. You will have to cut the exhaust just before the cat. Then if your RT cats are 3" you'll need a reducer before the cat. If your Corsa cat back system is 3", you'll have to cut off the reducer before the resonator that clamps to the stock cat and use a "bridge" between the new cat and the Corsa resonator.
