I've had my Competition- ECSTA V700 tires on the car for about 100 miles. They are sticky and they do pick up small stones. I was told that they would do that and it it isn't a problem for me. They have much more traction than my old, hard, Pilots. The biggest improvement is that my car is no longer "darty" on uneven roads. I don't know if any new tire would have solved the "darty" problem but these did it. I have yet to drive them in rain. From the look's of the tread, I would say that they don't seem to gave enough grooves to let water get out from under them. They will probably plane. The bottom line is that I'm happy with them.
