Crower RR\'s??

I found some crower RR's that look interesting. The intake is a 1.7 and the exhaust is a 1.6 ratio. Are most of you guys using a 1.7 ratio for both the intake and exhaust? What would be the hp difference in the two different ratios?

Re: Crower RR\'s??

Crower rockers are NOT shaft mounted and some have had catastrophic damage to the engine as a result(they have a tendency to move off the valve). Do a search and look for an alternative. (Mopar set for sale at the Alley :D )

My experience with the crowers is that they are not geometrically correct. See > THIS

Look at the rocker second from the right. Fortunately, I caught it before it caused any major damage. These were installed prior to T&D's or Jessel's being available. Now, I would never recommend the old style crower's with the girdle.

Re: Crower RR\'s??

I have Crower 1.7's... box says do not exceed 5800RPM'S! lol... they were on the car when I bought it, and they were new... I will more than likely swap them out after I supercharge.
