Can anyone link me to the Defroster vent dash rattle fix? My 06 coupe is rattling like hell. I don't want to break anything by doing it wrong. Help much appreciated.
My 2010 ACR did the same thing. I pulled the defroster vent out very carefully it just pops out and put some felt around the duct work. You will need a short Phillips screw driver and I also put some felt inside the dash by the vent.
If trimming the duct 1/4" doesn't fix the rattle?............ place a soft shim on top the long dash support bracket near the duct. (that's where my rattle was)
