diff service

i was under the car last week and i didn't see a drain for the differential, the service manual and this link (http://www.vipermagazine.com/issues/2009/winter/viper_differential_lubrication_service.html) say otherwise. I've seen in past links that some cars seem to have it and other don't. did they do it for some years and not others? - 2001 acr

2003 -2010 have fittings on the bottom of the diff that can be used as a drain. Dodge did this so you could add a diff cooler. The older cars the service manual says to **** it out.

You can use a hand pump to pump it out or I saw a guy rig up a windshield washer pump and hook it up to a car battery and pump it out pretty quick.

drill a hole, tap it and put a plug in it....
