I was going to change the differential fluid and was wondering which one to use?

Mopar 75W140 + 4oz friction modifier, or
Mobil 1 75W190 (includes friction modifier), or
Royal Purple 75W140 (includes friction modifier)

What do most DIYers do? I did a search but couldn't find anything conclusive.

Also, can someone please pdf and email me (ntmd8r at yahoo dot com) the procedure for adding a drain plug to the differential.

Regards,

Well, realizing that our Vipers see street use...I stick with the Mopar fluids for the differential...noting that I have seen many track cars use the same without any problems.

I would suggest that you follow the link below, join the VCA, and you will find Jerry Scott's procedure for adding a drain plug in the Illustrated Upgrades section:

Nothing wrong with the factory fill fluids if you have factory internals. The engineers that design cars are generally not stupid that way.

You can **** the fluid out using a Mityvac or equiv and pump it back in using the same.
