I have and want to install a K&N intake on my 06 convert. Since my VCA # hasn't come through yet, I was wondering if anyone who has done this install themselves could help. I am reasonably mechanically inclined, however I don't want to do an install and create a problem with something that I can't fix. If you've done this, did you encounter any problems with fit, any other problems elsewhere? Is it better to roll down to Tator's and have him do it? Is there any tuning that needs to be done as a result of the install? Did a search, can't seem to find much about it, sorry if this is beating a dead horse. Thanks.

The K&N Air-Intake is a plug and play Mod. Changing oil is more complex. On my "06" Vert it took 40 Min with clean up. Call JonB at partsrack, he has the best price.

I did just this on Saturday with my 06 vert. As said , it is "plug and play". The K+N instructions cover everything that needs to be done.
