They just bolt on. A very nice powder coated heavy duty bracket bolts on to the bottom of the frame by the differentialon each side. The "loop" is just a big u-bolt over the shaft positioned about in the middle of the shaft. At 1st look I thought they were a little pricey, $195 list, 179 JonB, but the alternative is to drill holes in the frame to mount something similar...
