My drivers side door opens normally from the outside, but when I try to open it with the handle from the inside, it doesn't release the lock and all I hear is a repeated clicking sound from the steering column area. In order to get out of the car, I have to use the manual door opener?

Is this is fuse issue??

Zach

Also, if I cannot fix this, which Dodge dealer in SoCal is trustworthy?

Can't help with the fix - I've been happy with the service from Foothill Dodge - ask for Phil Crosby 949 471 8034

broken wiring in the door harness, been there...done that... TWICE.

If need be, I have a BRAND NEW Driver Side harness for an 02 (will fit 00) if you want it. 100$ shipped.

PS- if you take it to a dodge dealer, they WILL splice wiring, and you can put money on it happening again, as that becomes the weak point. the fix is putting more electrical tape around the Door opening "Flex" section when te harness is new, to prevent it happening in the first place.

my '02 did that also from the outside , didnt trust the dodge dealer near me .
Took some time to find it but the wire was cut in the boot where the door meets the front fender.
