Hi,

After looking around on the forum:

I've heard that on '96 rt/10 (early OBD2), I can disconnect the downstream O2 sensors and I don't need sims. I won't have any DTC and/or lack of power.

Is it definitively true?

Some of you knows me as I'm installing two Viper engines in a Cigarette '38.
As a first step, I'll work with OEM PCM, and I have short exhaust pipes!
The boat is ready, I'm finishing the PCM installation.

Thank you for your advise.

Hi Don,

Thank you for this reply. I hadn't found that post before...

That confirms me I need sims if I don't have the sensors (after cat).

I've builded some this afternoon (simples one) and I'll try them this week. As I'm just finishing the harnesses.

Bye
