DTC code 1494???

[99RT10]

Second time my '99RT10 has thrown this code, P1494. Anyone know what part I should be looking to buy?

Start with checking your gas cap. If you need to replace it I would get an OE replacement. I would not trust that an aftermarket one would vent correctly.

If that is not it start checking the emissions related vacuum hoses up in the fascia. I think there is a vacuum can and a pump up there.

But before doing much of anything just clear the code and make sure your gas cap is screwed on tight.
