The anti-sway bar end link boots don't seem to last more than a few years for me. They tear and crack, looks like normal aging but just way too premature. I've replaced the front set twice and the rear set once. Is this normal for a '99? Are there better replacement endlinks available?

Do they look anything like this? Notice the melted brake deflector and oozing tie rod end boot.

edit: Oh yeah, and the ash-white BM4 brake pads too.

Heat, drying out or something corrosive?
On your next set--
Heat: shields
Drying out: rubber lubricant
Corrosive: find out what and stop using it

I also need to replace the anti-sway bar end link boots on my 2002. How much do they run?
