I got in my 94 viper and was taking it to the GOOD GUYS show, I noticed it was running a little rought. After driving I noticed it had a dead spot at about 1200 to 1500 and from then on it has a miss all the way up. The car is totally original with 12000 miles on it. Never did it before any ideas?

Could be a few things...maybe any of the below?
1. wires or plugs
2. o2 sensors
3. loose injector wire(s)
4. fuel pump
5. bad gas/running the car with less than 1/4 in the tank
6. etc...

Thanks guys, I did pull all the plugs on the drivers side and they look to be burning a little lean ( chocky white ). As far as head gasket, I not getting fluids in the oil, and the antifreeze in the radiator is not going down. The exhaust is a little black at the tip, If you run your finger inside you get a little black residue.
