What you are describing sounds pretty normal. As long as the fan kicks on when it is a few needle widths past the third line you should be fine. If it goes to the next one over (230, I believe) than you might have problems. Of course during hard driving or racing you will see some higher temps. The upgraded fan module is always a good thing to have. Call PartsRack for that. Sean Roe also sells a kit that will turn the fan on if the temp is high, even if the car is shut off. I have both and highly recommend them.
