First Dyno

Well I finally got around to getting my baseline dyno. It was done on a Superflow WinDyn. I guess I am not sure what to have expected, but my 2006 convertible came in at 407 hp max and 454 tq max. I pulled 8 times and this was my best. I thought it was really interesting to see how big a difference there was as the engine heated up. My altitude here is 4597. Wheel speed in 5th gear was 193 mph. Man the guys at these shops sure seem cocky. It amazes me how much faster their cars are, the one I never seem to see anywhere.

Did you dyno in 5th?

They started in fifth then i think they tried 3rd to get it higher

Wow...do they know how to dyno a six speed??? 4th gear is the 1:1 gear

i believe that 2001 GTS is correct max power and tq should be done at or as close to a 1;1 ratio which would be 4th, a dyno guy should know that

Talked to the Dyno shop this morning. They did runs 7 and eight in 4th. Run 7 was the best.
