My ****** car blew a power steering hose, so the only way for me to get to work was to take my "garage queen" Gen I out in the torrential rains we're getting here in Philly today.
No slips or hydroplanes on the way in (~30 min commute), although a little bit of water got in where the VMania windows meet the hard top. Guess I need to firm up the weatherstripping there.
So, the moral of this story is- to all you kiddies contemplating getting a Gen I as a daily driver- yes, it can survive in the rain. Now the snow, that's a different story!
