\"Fogged\" lamps

I recently re-aligned my right headlamp assm. Saturday
night I got caught in a 75 mile long down pour.
Sunday morning I noticed that the inside of my right side
headlamp was fogged up. I know there is a vent hose on top
of the headlamp assm's for heat exhaust (I guess), but it was
still fogged. Do you think I didn't get the panel put back
on correctly, or is this normal with that much rain ?

Re: \"Fogged\" lamps

Robert1994,

I had the same problem on my 01 GTS when I picked it up new. I was told that the water on the inside of the lamp would disappear but it did not. I spoke with a very reputable tuner and found out that the moisture would disappear with heat but more than likely would come back at next rain, fog, etc. My advice:replace the lamp...it's what I did and have never had any other problems. I was fortunate that my car was in warranty.
Might want to check on ebay...I have seen Viper lamps for sale in the past.
