FREE VIPER, really ??

Sounds like a come on ? It is !
But it IS true and there is only one string attached.

We are actively seeking sponsorship for the 2004
Indy Racing League, Infiniti Pro season.

I will be giving a Dodge Viper away to the individual
that helps us secure sponsorship for the 2004 season.
(More details on the car are listed below.)
I know that there are many corporate and individual sponsors
that would be excited to fund our race program in 2004. We
just need to meet them, and get in front of them to explain
the advantages of our motorsports marketing program. This is also a great
way to help promote our childrens charity program which
participates directly with our success in marketing the race program !

All you have to do is help make the introduction to an individual or
business that funds our 2004 race program. Drop me an email if you are interested,
and I give you more details and register your contacts.

The VIPER was a "gift" from the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
This car has less that 1000 original miles on it ! It was purchased by the
Sahara for $65,000. The Viper was also used in the movie Las Vegas Vacation
starring Chevy Chase. You will also receive an original press kit, video, and
theater poster from the movie, as well as an autographed photo of Chevy Chase.
The car also comes with all the all the luxury tax and licence paid as well as a
3 Year factory extended warranty ! The Viper also has a removable Hard top
AND soft top.

Interested? Excited ?
I hope so !

I don't want to sound rude but this is highly "odd". It is either an insanely awesome deal, or "too good to be true"....if it's not, sign me up BABY!!!!!...lol

Francisco...

Sponsership for an IRL team will cost someone much more than just buying a Viper outright. It's simply a nice way to say thank you to someone already interested in such a venture.

Don't think it's an "insanely awesome deal"...it's simply a very nice way of thanking an investor. :2tu:

It is not too good to be true, It is true !!!
Hopefully it is a way to encourage someone to
introduce the team to a racing sponsor. This
referral could come from a marketing person within
a company, or just someone who knows a corporate
sponsor that wants to get involved.
The funding could also come from a high net worth individual
that just wants to get in the race game.
The car is also available to see in Southern California if anyone
who is serious about the program, wants to check it out.

OK, I worked with AVR on sponsorship and can tell you that we charged 20% of the sponsorship amount. So if this is IRL which is very hard to find sponsors for they would need like 3-5mil at minimum. So that would translate to 600K-1mil in commission which means that 65K is not a great deal.

But ElD he said "introduce." He's not talking about closing the deal, just get them in front of somebody who might sponsor. They close the deal, you get the Viper. Not bad. I just don't know any big shots with a few mil to spare.

Actually the dollar amount we are looking for is in the $500K to $750K range. This is the IRL Infiniti Pro Series.
The cost is about 10% of the Full Indy Car program. We race mostly in front of the same crowds on the same day. It is a real value ! :)
