Approaching 70,000 miles and being 9 years old, I think the headlights on my '94 are worn out! The clear plastic lens is pitted, foggy, the UV stuff looks like it's peeling off, and it's harder to see anything at night. So if I buy eBay replacements, do Gen 2 headlights fit on a Gen 1? I know the part numbers are different, I know the parts book pictures are the same (whether that's accurate or not is always a mystery...) Anybody know? Thanks.

no, thery use a different bracket. Had that problem when I switched my front facia to Elites facia. My gen 1 headlamp assemblys would not fir so I had to send my assembly to elite and they sent me a gen 2..

I suggest that you get the 3M headlight protectors to avoid having to replace them again. I have them on all my cars and worth the $$.
