Gen 3 Truck engine Oil pan replace with Gen 3 Viper oil pan How?

I am wanting to replace the oil pan in my Gen 3 truck motor with a Gen 3 oil pan from a Viper motor. I have clearance issues in my current project.

I assume the pan will fit and the pan pickup tube.
I assume I will also need the dip stick and tube from the viper motor.
I have been told I will also require the oil pump from the viper engine is this correct?
I know the rotor portion of the pump is the same.

I am correct and it will transfer and if so what is required ?
