Actually those prices are in Euros, which are running slightly less than a dollar each right now. Looks to me like the kit would be a little less than $14,000, and the complete installation would be ~$18,500. Not factoring in any sort of taxes, export issues, etc. Dan's under $10k system is looking pretty good by comparison.

Dang Markus, I hate to argue about Euros with a guy that's apparently spending them (and I've never even seen one), but I think you better recheck your currency conversion. If it takes 1.1 Euros to equal a dollar (a good rough estimate right now), you do not ADD 10% to the Euro price to get the price in dollars, you SUBTRACT 10% (because the dollar is worth 10% more). Sounds like someone over there is ripping you off.

Actually, you have it exactly backward. But if you will give me $1.08 per Euro, I can obtain some Euros (maybe a million or so to start) and would love to exchange them with you.
