Going over a speed bump, I hear a chime every once in a while...

I was driving to put some gas in the snake this morning, and I heard a chime, kind of like when you don't have your seat belt on. It only chimed once, and that is when I went over the speed bump. No lights came on...just a chime. What is this?

Chances are, your trunk isnt latched.

I had this happen to me last summer... baffled the hell out of me for an hour before I finally figured it out.

Naw, that is the famous, slow down over those speed bumps my nose is very low, chime.

Ahhhh thanks a BILLION! I just went to the garage to check, and to my delight, the trunk was not latched...ohh..I can take a nap safely now.

Yeah that trunk is usually the problem!! Scared me one time when I realized it isn't latched so now I slam it down nice and hard!
