A good friend and Fellow IN/KY VCA Member (Mr. Ray Sweers) sent a copy of this interesting book to me yesterday: "Proving Ground, A History of Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth Racing" by Jim Schild.
This book really covers the whole Mopar racing topic...especially with all of the great Vipers pictured in Chapter 7 "Road Racing, Rally, and Land Speed Record 1981-Present". As I understand it, Viper Racers Ray Sweers, his brother Alan Sweers, Skip Thomas, and Bob Woodhouse ALL offered input for use in this chapter. There are some beautiful Vipers-in-action photos at the beginning of this chapter.
