H&R Coil Overs for the Dodge Viper

Find yourself ready for a more exhilarating driving experience? This year, take customization of your Dodge Viper to a whole new level. To fully own road or track, New H&R Coil Overs for Dodge Viper are a prerequisite and class is in session.

H&R is the originator of the true Coil Over system for the street and track. Using only the highest quality materials, H&R engineers tune each Coil Over shock with a progressive rate spring to create a specifically designed, finely tuned, suspension system. The unrivaled handling, ride comfort, and performance the Coil Overs provide make them the suspension answer for everybody—from the daily drivers to the serious tuners.
New H&R Coil Overs for the Dodge Viper allow for a wide range of adjustments—from a performance street setting to track settings. Increasing ultimate handling on and off the track, they lower the vehicle 1.0 to 2.5 inches on average. Unlike traditional twin-tube shock absorbers, H&R Coil Overs feature a state-of-the-art mono-tube gas shock construction and have a fully threaded shock body for adjustable vehicle lowering. Additionally, the premium precision construction and manufacturing are evident in the Coil Overs’ fit and finish. Being 100% German manufactured, there are NO other Coil Overs like this on the market.
Though Dodge Vipers’ have a wide stance and low center of gravity, the new H&R Coil Overs can further increase handling and performance. Look for improved sharpness in cornering ability, with even better control, feedback, and response. Fulfill your need for premium performance; customize your Viper experience with H&R today. Class dismissed.

Thanks for posting Luke; I would be curious to see how the H&Rs compare to the Moton Club Sports and the KW ACR system as the H&R price is quite competitive.

Luke, does Bilstein make the H&R shocks for this Viper application? Is there any flexibility in spring rate when ordering?

Bilstein and H&R work vey closely together but, I can not confirm or deny that Bilstein manufactured the dampers for this kit.

this kit came out late last year

spring rates quoted are the standard set up from H&R if you want something different call me directly

On a Gen 2... Is it possible to have these without lowering the stated amount of like 1" or so? Shim the spring? Run the nut up?

I know I am not Luke, but yes, the 1" they state usually just means that it can be lowered up to an inch. But typically all coilovers you can keep at a stock right height and above. Meaning most coilovers you can actually go above the stock ride height, not like you would want to. But if you didnt want to lower it an inch, just adjust the spring perch to your liking.

according to H&R the minimum lowering will be 1" and if you tried raising the spring perch to a position which would keep the stock height the dampers would top out causing them to fail internally

How are these different than H&R part #50850?

How are the dampening adjustments made?

Are wrenches included?

Your website says special order. How long?
