I just bought a fifth wheel enclosed trailer, I was going to install E track instead of using the standard tie downs. What is the feeling on E track and how far apart is it suggested to install the tracks?
Has anyone used E Track in their trailer?

We use e-track all along the walls of hte trailer to tie stuff down, i.e. toolboxes, tire racks, ramps, etc.
I don;t think that it's strong enough to use to tie down a car unless it's in a commercial trailer. The D ring tie downs in our Featherlite are welded to 1/4 thick plates between the floor joists. I wouldn't trust e-track into a wood floor and not sure how you'd get it stable enough with a treadplate floor unless you welded in a whole ton on supports underneath.
