Package came with new clips and the OEM type tool for the install.
Good for at least 20 RWHP :)

Sorry, I should have explained in more detail. The stock hood liner is just black. JonB offers this version with the Viper logo painted to match the car, or as you please.
It took about 4 weeks to get the liner.

I think he has them for like 300$. They look VERY good up close! Sam has one on his 2002 yellow beast, the woman who paints them signs them too (looks very tasteful).

I'm getting one, my hood pad is damaged around the spring area

I notice that I get two holes in the Viper logo in the hood pad that are created by the hood hinge assembly. If you look in the above photo, you can see two large bolts in the cross-brace - these have worn all of the way through my hood pad. Does anyone have any idea on what might have caused this?

Got mine istalled last week. Sorry, no pics. Anyway, it is a pretty neat item and easy to install. I love it when it 'works as advertised'.

I haven't dyno'd yet but I fully expect another 5 RWHP.

A hood pad swap is very easy, but it's best to do it with 2 people. The hood pad needs to go under the hinge mounts, though most of it can be installed with the hood mounted. The way I installed mine was to have one person support the hood, while a second person undid the hinge mounting bolts on one side, quickly snug the pad in place, then repeat for the other side. All in all, I think it took about 30 minutes.

Dale, do you have any other pictures of your car that you're willing to post or e-mail?

So Jon, this is your thing? What's the deal? I order what I want and when I install it I swap back my old pad to you? Or I keep my old pad?

And considering the heat under the hood...how long will this last, or should I say how long is is guaranteed for?
