I consulted Steve before going with my Belanger setup. I'm glad I did because its simply awesome. I have Belanger headers, RT cats and Belanger exhaust but with 2 mufflers in the back instead of 4. It's loud but a good-sounding loud. When I start it, my neighbor's great room rattles. :D I'm going to try setting off car alarms soon. :D I can't imagine running without cats and mufflers. Chad, please record a clip of it. Would love to hear it.

Hmmmm.. being an internet forum I cannot admit what my 1996 RT has, or does not have.... suffice to say... if I did not have CATs... and did have 3" Corsa with the small mufflers in back... it would sound GREAT..... and pass emissions in TWO different states........ I "imagine" with the set up above..... it could set of car alarms within a block... if you want it to. And you could drive by plenty of officers.. and easily can keep it quiet enough to pass them safely and ticketless.

My friend has this set up in his 93 R/T. Belangers, 3 inch sidepipes, no cats, no mufflers. Is the car loud? Yes but it has great deep tone to it. It sets off many alarms going down the street especially in town revving the motor. When I'm driving in the car I love the sound for the first 45 minutes, after that I always get a blasting headache from the drone. Happens every time even when the car is just cruising. But I absolutely love the sound of this thing going through underpasses and tunnels. Need I say very Race Car like.
If you are immune to the head blasting drone then definitely do it.
