Actually, I suspect the registrations are going well and no one with the knowlege of the actual numbers has looked at this thread.

#1304 is just of the online registrations, too. I'm guessing they must be up to about 500 cars registered, then and maybe 750 to 800 people registered.

Best theory I heard was that the internet registrations started at 1000 (which means I was in the first 50), and the phone/mailed registrations started at another number - haven't heard what.

I was registered a couple of days before you and was #1480, so there does seem to be an order actually.

When I called (see post above) they told me they expected to go as high as 2000 people. I think the limiting factor is managing all the cars at the track.

I believe this VOI will be the largest if they meet the numbers they think they will. I'm sure the historians on this site can confirm the largest to date, but I'm guessing it was the '99 VOI in Vegas.
